Petrofac Malaysia Limited is now hiring crews for a Peninsular Malaysia field development project. All candidates shall have experience and qualifications for the HSE aspect of the position applied for.

OFFSHORE INSTALLATION MANAGER (OIM)

Scope of Responsibilities

Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) for West Desaru field in the region of the East Coast peninsular Malaysia. This position is a rotational position.

Skills & Qualifications

- Outstanding leadership abilities in an offshore and onshore hydrocarbon processing environment

- Diploma or similar qualification

- Over 15 years of oil & gas facility experience in a range of technical, supervisory and management roles

- Previous experience as OIM, preferably working in Malaysian waters

- Experience of managing well intervention and campaign maintenance work

- Experience of working to Safety Case and COMAH reports

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Scope of Responsibilities

Supervise, plan and implement safe and efficient production operations in the West Desaru field.

Skills & Qualifications

- Supervisory and leadership abilities in an offshore production environment

- Over 10 years of experience in offshore oil & gas production and maintenance operations

- Diploma or equivalent in Production or Engineering discipline

- Experienced in planning and coordinating

- Preferably with previous experience acting as deputy OIM

- Experience of emergency response duties

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Scope of Responsibilities

Supervise, plan and implement all maintenance and minor project activities in the West Desaru including intervention activities and safeguards the availability and operating condition so that HSEQ, production and OPEX targets are achieved.

Skills & Qualifications

- Supervisory and leadership abilities in an offshore maintenance environment

- Over 10 years of experience in offshore oil & gas facility in a range of technical

- Diploma or equivalent in Production or Engineering discipline

- Experienced in planning and coordinating

- Preferably with previous experience acting as deputy OIM

- Experience of managing intervention and campaign maintenance work and knowledge of CMMS or similar system

- Experience of emergency response duties

PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

Scope of Responsibilities

Operates and controls process and utilities facilities in a safe and efficient manner, thereby ensuring continuous production. Carry out adjustments to process facilities under the guidance of the Control Room Operator and within operating procedures, plant design parameters and Safety Case.

Skills & Qualifications

- A recognised Production apprenticeship or training scheme

- Diploma or similar qualification

- Over 5 years of offshore experience in either process operations and/or maintenance support activities

- Experience of emergency response duties

ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN

Scope of Responsibilities

Ensure and maintain the power generation, turbo machinery, power distribution, all electrical equipment, instrumentation and control systems controlling, and monitoring the Offshore Process and Utility systems. Safeguard the availability and operational condition of the facilities’ electrical and instrument equipment so that HSEQ, production and OPEX targets can be achieved. Works within Safety Management System, the Permit-to-Work system and acts as responsible Electrical person, when delegated under the company electrical procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

- A recognised Electrical/ Instrument apprenticeship or training scheme

- Diploma or similar qualification

- A minimum City & Guilds or equivalent, with an ONC or equivalent preferred (AO certified)

- Over 5 years of offshore experience in maintenance support activities, preferably with experience of multiskilling

- Experience of emergency response duties

MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

Scope of Responsibilities

Implement planned and corrective maintenance on all mechanical/ production equipment offshore, in a safe and competent manner, to safeguard the availability and operating condition so that HSEQ, Production and OPEX targets can be achieved.

Skills & Qualifications

- A recognised Mechanical apprenticeship or training scheme

- Diploma in Mechanical skills

- 5 years of offshore experience in maintenance support activities, preferably with experience of multi-skilling

- Experience of emergency response duties

TURBO MACHINERY TECHNICIAN

Scope of Responsibilities

Carry out all mechanical maintenance and instrument activities for all turbo machinery equipment including preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, coordinating activities with Maintenance Supervisor and Turbo Machinery Engineer, as required. Assist in developing and establishing policies and procedures. ensuring consistency with Company strategies and business objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

- A recognised Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrument apprenticeship or training scheme

- Diploma or similar qualification

- Minimum 5 years of offshore experience in mechanical rotating/ machinery maintenance work in the oil & gas industry

- Fully qualified to maintain and overhauling of machinery,

rotating equipment included but are not limited to centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, centrifugal and reciprocating pumps. Hydraulic turbine/ turbine expander, fin fans and blowers, MOV and familiar with SOLAR turbine

- Familiar with all types of alignment method. Ability to undertake mechanical seal assembly, disassembly and installation procedure

- Experience of emergency response duties

- Familiar with Turbine controls

DECK FOREMAN

Scope of Responsibilities

Supervises deck crew and deck activities to support the Operations and Maintenance team, ensuring all crane and helicopter activities are carried out in a safe and controlled manner in line with appropriate legislative and company standards so that HSEQ, Production and OEE targets can be achieved, works within the Safety Management System.

Skills & Qualifications

- 5 years of experience in supervising deck crew activities

- Formal training in HLO duties

- Experienced in inspection of rigging and lifting equipment

- Air to ground radio operator’s certificate

- Experience of emergency response duties

DECK CREW

Scope of Responsibilities

Carry out deck crew activities to support the Operations and Maintenance team, ensuring all crane and helicopter activities are carried out in a safe and controlled manner in line with appropriate legislative and company standards so that HSEQ, Production and OEE targets can be achieved, and works within the Safety Management System.

Skills & Qualifications

- 5 years of experience of deck crew activities

- Experience of helideck duties

- Experienced in inspection of rigging and lifting equipment

- Experience of emergency response duties

MEDICAL ASSISTANT/ RADIO OPERATOR/ ADMIN CLERK

Scope of Responsibilities

Provide health services for personnel in offshore locations through the provision of clinical, occupational health (OH), and public health services. Responsible for planning, giving, directing and evaluating the pre-hospital emergency care of individuals. Providing instruction in First Aid and other medical emergency response procedures. To be part of Medevac Call Medical Emergency Response Team or MER.

Skills & Qualifications

- Certified Paramedic with highly qualified Emergency and Trauma Medicine services (registered with Malaysian Association of Emergency Medicine and Occupational Safety & Health Department)

- Minimum 8 years of experience as general medical practitioner

- Excellent emergency response skills, proactive and cost-conscious

- Independent and self-motivated to deliver and accomplish world-class results

- Ability to work under pressure

- Good written and verbal command of English and Bahasa Malaysia

- Experience of emergency response duties
