Genting Plantations Berhad is one of the country’s leading oil palm plantation companies, with a sizeable landbank and operations in Malaysia and Indonesia. The Group also has interest in property development and has invested in biotechnology, focusing on the application of genome technology for crop improvement.
In line with the Company’s continued progress and expansion, we are looking for a suitable candidate to join the team.
DRAUGHTSMAN
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for checking and sketching during drawing preparation
- Prepare engineering drawings including production of layout, assembly and machining drawings including Bills of Material
- Assist in new project designs
- Update of standards and engineering specifications
- Review and improve drawings continuously to ensure accuracy according to specifications
- Organize all technical drawings according to their specific types and categories of work location for easy retrieval
Requirements:
- At least a Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 years experience in the related field preferably in the palm oil industry
- Proven knowledge of AutoCAD and Solid Work with 2D and 3D designs
- Possess a sound understanding of engineering and manufacturing as well as knowledge of mechanical part design
- Able to work to a high level of accuracy with minimum supervision, within set time limits
